Third Year Students’ Appreciation for the following poems

Smell of Nature

Blackened minds, Hardened hearts
Thickened Sweetness, weakened affection

All got healed
At the moment breeze pressed
Its lips on my chest …
All got healed
When the second dews swung
On the eyelashes of my iced eyes
All got healed
When the time streams melodized
Nearer to the ears of my wearied heart

Whiteness of love, purity of mercy,
Revolve the minute since I smelled the nature.
-       A.R. Rilmiyas

The Isolated Heart

My innocent conscience ever feels
Putting the heart aside and
Not to be disturbed by the sounds…
Oh yeah the heart is hers….
The fated memories she ever gave
Is the sweetest moment I ever have….
Seclusion is my companion that never hurts
All around me surrounds with suffer
Deluding her dead images to my deaf life….
She perished me and vanished my love
Still my poor heart pours its blood to color her sprit….
All I want goes nothing but a thing
“My breath wants to end up
Knowing whether my beloved breaths my memories”
 -  A.R. Rilmiyas

Most exhilarating of all human emotion is probably nature's beautiful way of keeping the human in love. The poet loves the nature like the love. Love can be short term or long term relationship and how feelings change throughout the lifetime of a relationship. From this poem the writer is trying to portray about the nature and love. Both are not stable. People want their love relationship to be stable. They want their profound love to remain constant at its initial profound level but, we cannot guarantee our self when we think about a person's mentality.

THE ISOLATED HEART

This is poem about love. The situation of this poem is that the speaker does not want to forget his loved one’s memories even after she went away leaving behind him.
The title of the poem ‘the isolated heart’ is appropriate to this poetry. Ti symbolically indicates a man who is given up by his loving one.
He wants to keep her memories forever. He does not want to be disturbed even by his sound of heart thinking about her. Thus, he wants to put the heart aside. But he could not do that as he considers his heart as hers. Here he exaggeratedly expresses his love. To the poet the days with her were sweetest moments that he ever had. The adjective ‘sweetest’ express how he loves her. Now he is lonely without her. Here he ironically says that this loneliness never hurts him.
Even after she went from him his heart always wishes for her for the goodness.
The technique of personification and exaggeration is used in the line “still my poor heart pours its blood to color her spirit….”.
This poem is in first person narration and the tone is pathetic. The language simple. The structure of a poem seems to be in sonnet form. But it does not fill the rules of the sonnet.
